Like any non-profit organization, we are always glad to accept your donation of time, certain goods, and of course funds. Our major needs currently include:
Funds: We have incurred several thousand dollars in extraordinary expenses this year, including funds for construction of a new shower house and to install 1,400 feet of water line. This was a major expenditure for us, and any donations of funds will be gratefully accepted with our heartfelt thanks.
Volunteers: To date all of our progress has been due to the dedicated efforts of our beloved volunteers. We have cleared camp sites, cut roads and trails, raised standing stones, planted a remarkable ring of trees, and built a kitchen, bathrooms, and a shower house. We are currently completing the minstrel's gallery in the main hall and hope to tile the kitchen and bathrooms soon. We have many other projects involving painting, sewing, and gardening. If you can spare an afternoon or a weekend to lend a hand you will be welcomed with open arms. Please call the site manager, Mrs. Johnson, at (931) 359-5852 so you both can plan ahead.

Material Goods: Roadway gravel, construction materials, paint, and even commercial trash cans are all needed in the very near term. The donation of a small tractor with a bush-hogging attachment would be an absolute Godsend! We are also collecting books to expand our growing historical research library.
FUNDRAISER RAFFLE RESULTS: On June 25th we held a drawing for the three beautiful prizes shown at the right: a tapestry, an Egyptian saddle set, and a necklace. Congratulations to our lucky winners, known in the SCA as Octavio de Flores, Roland Stewart, and Cillian mac Cauldwell, respectively. The Cumberland Centre is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Please consult your tax professional about the deductibility of your donations.
